What data we handle and why

• Booking a demo: when you book on Calendly you give your name, email address, the date you choose and any information you add. We use them to run the demo and to contact you about it. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Email: if you write to emmanuel.mendoza@dinerbrain.com, we use your message and address to reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(f)) or pre-contract steps (Article 6(1)(b)).
• Technical logs: when you visit the site, the hosting provider records data such as your IP address and the time of access, for security and to keep the site running. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use first-party or third-party cookies, has no analytics or advertising tools and does not track you. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it. The Calendly page you reach when booking has its own privacy and cookie policy.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. These providers handle it on our behalf or as a necessary service:

• Calendly (demo bookings).
• Vercel (website hosting).
• Cloudflare (DNS and forwarding of the domain's email).
• Google (the mailbox where we receive messages).

International transfers

Some of these providers are based in the United States. When your data leaves the European Economic Area, it relies on safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, depending on the provider.

How long we keep it

We keep demo and enquiry data for as long as the relationship lasts and, if there is none, up to 12 months after the last contact. After that we delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data, and withdraw your consent where you gave it, by writing to emmanuel.mendoza@dinerbrain.com. We reply within the legal limit of one month.

If you think your data is not handled properly, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (www.cnpd.pt), or to the authority in your own country.

We may update this policy. The date of the last review is at the top of the page.
